“When it came to our wedding one of the best decisions my wife and I made was asking Amy Varughese to be our wedding coordinator. We went to the same church for over a decade before our wedding and over that time saw how she was always the one person everyone trusted to organize, coordinate, plan any event whether it was a birthday party, trips, community, or church functions, bridal/baby showers and of course help with weddings. Amy is very detail-oriented, takes pride in what she does, and is relentless when it comes down to carrying out a plan. My wife and I got married in 2013 and had over 500 guests - my wife's family and friends were coming from Philadelphia and my family was in North Jersey/New York. We decided to have the wedding at a location in between which meant that many of our vendors (florist, photographers, DJ, sound, caterers, transportation, stylists, officiants) were coming from various locations and required a lot more coordination since they were not local to the wedding venue area. Not only that we had over 500 guests which meant that there needed to be a well-run team in place to manage the crowd in finding seats during the ceremony as well as the reception while doing it all on a very strict schedule. Needless to say, our wedding had so many moving pieces and elements that needed management. Amy made sure to plan everything well in advance with my wife and made sure to remain flexible to carry out our vision while making sure every minute of the day was accounted for. The best part of it all was that two days before the wedding at the rehearsal Amy let me know that my time to worry about the planning/details of the wedding was over and that she and her team would take care of everything moving forward and my job was to enjoy the moment and not to stress. I took her advice and she delivered on her word making sure everything went as planned. I recall my wife and I discussed during the reception how smoothly things went over the course of the day and how so many of our guests had complimented us on how well everything went, which really is all a testament to the work Amy and her team put in. I'm so grateful to Amy for doing such a great job with the biggest day of our lives and recommend her for your big day!”
